The Expedition School’s 2024 Run Across America Challenge

Partner with us for 3 weeks of fun, fitness, and fundraising at The Expedition School’s Run Across America Challenge for our entire TES community of supporters! Our Challenge will culminate with “the last mile” fun run for students on April 26, 2024! Families and supporters can join our “virtual fun run” April 8th, 2024 through April 26th! Our goal is to raise $18,000 to support student sports and activities at our school and to accumulate enough miles to “run across America and back!

This year, to celebrate our 10 year anniversary, we are shooting for the stars! Our students, family, staff, and community will work together as a crew to accumulate enough miles to “run across America”. We are starting our journey at The Expedition School and by collecting our real walk/run miles, virtually traveling to national parks across the country, to end back at The Expedition School. By working together we can arrive at each park much more quickly. Each mile that students, family, staff, and community members walk/run will count together to move us along our virtual journey! We need you and everyone you can encourage to join our CREW to get us across America and back!

On April 26, 2024 our students will run the final miles to get us back over the finish line to TES.

Here is how it works:

All students and family members sign up to help!
Sign up on runsignup.com by using this QR code
Send the challenge to friends and family using Facebook or e-mail to sponsor you! Friends and family can also run/walk with us to help us increase our miles!
Begin running/walking and logging your time on runsignup.com
Students will run/walk at school and the school will track these miles!
Each 10 min run or 20 min walk counts as 1 mile!
Log your personal or family miles and get sponsors!
Attend fundraising nights!
Help us run across America and raise $18,000!

Our Fun Run has 3 goals:

Bringing our school community together for some FUN!
Run/Walk across America for health and fitness – we are traveling 6,834 Miles – so 360 Miles per day!
Raising funds to support our school’s needs – $18,000 goal
