Battle of the Books

Battle of the Books (BOB) is back again for a fourth year at TES! This an easy way for kids in grades 3-8 to be involved in school, expand their reading horizons, and be part of a team. This is also a fun way for parents to get in volunteer hours by being BOB coaches. Teams will meet during school lunchtime, starting after fall break and ending mid-February with a friendly in-school competition and pizza party. The Expedition School uses a shortened version of the official state BOB list.  Click here for the TES/BOB 2019-20 reading list (Note that there are two tabs for elementary and middle school.)

Use the donate button below for a suggested donation of $15 per BOB participant. This donation will cover the pizza party and other program costs.  (No one will be turned away for lack of funds.) Please send questions to or

Please include Student’s Name in the note field on the final payment page.
